An extremely hardy vegetable providing succession of tender shoots from early to late spring. A delicacy, but so easy to grow. Broccoli thrives on any well nourished soil. Serving Tip: Boil or steam and serve with melted butter. Ideal for deep freezing.

To Sow and Grow: Sow outdoors thinly in a seed bed, 1.5cm (1/2) deep directly into finely prepared soil which has already been watered. Seedlings usually appear in 14-21 days. Water well until plants are established. Transplant 60cm (2) apart both ways when seedlings are about 10cm (4)tall. Plant firmly and water well.
