Marigold (french) Boy O Boy Mixed

Easy to grow these dwarf, free - flowering plants provide reliable long lasting, bright colour for beds, borders, pots and tubs.

For Indoor Sowing:
When: February to April
Where: In trays of seed compost
How: Sow thinly, cover with a fine layer of compost. Cover tray with glass, polythene or propagator lid. Keep at approx. 15-20c (60-68F). Keep moist and weed free seedlings appear 14-21 days.
Care: Remove cover when seedlings appear. Grow on at approx 13-15c (55-60F) When large enough transplant 5cm (2in) apart. Stand outside for a few days late May (avoid frosts) Transplant 15cm (6in) apart in flowering position. Keep moist and weed free.
Flowers: June to October. Remove dead heads to prolong flowering.

For Outdoor Sowing:
When: April - May
Where: In flowering position
How: Sow thinly in rows 15cm (6in) or direct into large pots. Cover with fine soil, firm gently and keep moist.
Care: Thin as necessary.
Flowers: June to October. Remove dead heads to prolong flowering.
