Beetroot Red Titan F1

Uniform, dark red roots have a high sugar content for a remarkably sweet taste. Plants are tolerant to bolting and to leaf spot, powdery and downy mildew.

For Outdoor Sowing:

When - March to July
Where - In a prepared seed bed
How - Sow thinly in rows 30cm (12in) apart. Cover with 2.5cm (1in) of fine soil. Firm gently and keep moist. Seedlings appear 7-21 days. For continuous crops sow every 2-3 weeks.
Care - when large enough thin to 10cm (4in) apart. Keep moist and weed free.
Harvest - June to October, start to harvest when golf ball size for baby beet. Twist the tops off this prevents bleeding.
