Mixed Leaves Fancy Frills

Very decorative and unusual leaf shapes create a picture perfect salad with quite a spicy taste. It also makes a lovely unusual garnish that will add that chefs finish to any plate.

For outdoor sowing.

When - March to August.

Where - In large pots, containers, growing bags or a seed bed.

How - Sow thinly in a pot or tub approx. 30cm (12in) diameter and 25cm (10in) deep, or inrows 25cm (10in) apart.

Cover lightly with 1.5cm (half inch) of fine soil. Firm gently and keep moist. For continuous crops sow every 2-3 weeks.

Care - For baby leaves, thin to 5cm (2in) apart if plants are crowded.
Keep moist and weed free.
