Gruesome Gourds (Seeds for little gardeners)

Grow these weird, inedible gourds and create your own wacky, gruesome zoo!

*Step 1 * Sow seeds outdoors in May or indoors April to May, in pots of compost on a warm windowsill and keep moist.

*Step 2 * Place young plants outdoors late May - avoid frosts. Plant out in the garden 60cm apart, in June. Water well.

*Step 3 * Harvest August to October.

*Step 4 *Allow gourds to dry then decorate to look like gruesome creatures.
