Onion Ciboule (Welsh Onion) White skinned.
Forms a Clump of slender, elongated bulbs and long green stalks, similar to chives. A Type of perennial bunching onion ciboule usually grown as an annual, and winter hardy. Quite pungent flavour, use both the leaves and small bulbs.
Sowing Instructions: Sow thinly, 1cm (1/2in) deep in drills 30cm (12in) apart.
Growing Instructions: Thin to 15cm (6in) between plants which will grow to form a clump. Keep watered during dry periods.
Serving Suggestion: Use as a substitution for chives, chopped up in salads, stir-fries,added to soups and egg dishes.
