Broccoli Raab 60 days (Vegetable Explorer 13626)

A favorite vegetable in Italy, it is very quick to grow. Generally the whole plant is harvested and leaves, stems and flower buds are all eaten. The small flower buds can be picked and cooked separately but you do need a lot of them! It can be sown and harvested successionally for many months. It has quite a strong, pungent brassica flavour, perhaps as it is not actually a broccoli hence its many other names such as rapini, rappone, rabe and turnip broccoli.
