WE STOCK MAJOR UK SEED BRANDS | ALL THE SEEDS YOU NEED FOR A WONDERFUL GARDEN | PART OF PLANTERS GARDEN CENTRE
This excellent variety of African Marigold has many of the attributes of the more expensive F1 varieties. The plants are dwarf, compact and bushy with large tight blooms of orange, yellow or gold.
To Sow & Grow:
Sow indoors, a warm kitchen windowsill is all you need for starting these seeds. Sow 0.5cm (1/4) deep, in trays of compost. Water well and place in a warm position. A temperature of 15-20C (60-68f) is ideal. Keep moist. Seedlings usually appear in 14-21 days. Transplant seedlings 5cm (2) apart to other trays when large enough to handle. (Always handle by leaf never by stem.) Grow on in cooler but not cold conditions. Gradually accustom young plants to outside conditions (avoid frosts), before planting out 25cm (10) apart, when frosts are over.
